COTTON AND LINEN COMFORTERS AND CUSHIONS
- Made of 100 percent cotton or linen, these items can be machine-washed in a delicate cycle in lukewarm water. We suggest you use a professional dry cleaning company and ask for the item to be wet-washed and line-dried on a gentle cycle.
- Avoid spot cleaning or soaking, as this may cause the fabric to bleed.
- Do not bleach, dry clean, or tumble-dry
- Hang to dry promptly after washing.
- Gently pull the quilt into shape while still damp to lessen shrinkage by 5-7 percent.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Natural dyes have been used to dye and print these fabrics, so some may fade over time. However, this adds to the quilts' heirloom quality.
